In Japanese, zakka means “household goods,” referring specifically to hand-sewn items for domestic use tableware, kitchenware, containers of various kinds, even simple clothing. And until now, the only way for crafters who don’t understand the Japanese language to experience zakka has been to view it in Japanese books or online.  Therese Laskey and Chika Mori set out to change that with Zakka Sewing, the first authentic zakka book for English-speaking crafters.
